Calling All Allies! One of the best ways to support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community is to volunteer at the annual Nanaimo Pride Parade & Festival. Your involvement allows community members to fully participate and enjoy the events planned throughout June. By lending a helping hand, you play a crucial role in making our events successful and ensuring everyone feels welcome.

Partnerships Committee
Let’s talk money, community relationships, and strategy! This meeting is for folks interested in sponsorships, grant writing, fundraising, and partner engagement. We'll coordinate outreach and applications, share updates, and make sure we’re building strong, values-aligned support for Pride.
Events Committee
This is where Pride comes to life! From marches to mixers, parades to parties, this team plans the big moments that bring our community together. We'll coordinate logistics, brainstorm new ideas, and bring sparkle to everything from fundraisers to ticketed events.
Communications Committee
This is the creative hub for all things Nanaimo Pride messaging, marketing, and more. We’ll plan social media, newsletters, signage, graphics, and media outreach. If you love branding, design, or spreading the word, this is your space!
Governance Committee
