The NPS Pride Parade takes place at 11:00 am on June 8th, 2025.

Is this your first time attending?

Participants can now register and pay to secure their spot in the pride parade. The following questions will help to determine your payment category. 
We have created the following categories to help us manage registrations and develop a payment scale.

1. No organization: walkers - folks not affiliated with any group but want to walk in the parade. 

2. Individuals or a Group of Motorcycle riders. 

3. Business: Small/Independent - Is local to BC with 1 location, does business in a small area. 
4. Business: Medium/Provincial - Businesses local to BC with multiple locations or do business across BC.
5. Business: Large/National - Is not local to BC and does business across Canada. 
6. Non-Profit Societies, Charities, Community or Student Groups: Small/Local- Is local to BC and operates one location or with limited staff and resources. 

6. Non-Profit Societies, Charities, Community or Student Groups: Large/National - Have multiple locations and operate across Canada.
7. Government Agency, Political Group, or Union

I am a peformer, where can I apply?

Please fill out the performer application form by visiting https://bit.ly/nanaimo-pride-performer.

When is the Pride Parade?

The parade will take place in downtown Nanaimo on June 8th, 2025 at 11:00 am.  Parade registrants will receive more information on where to meet and the parade route closer to the date. 

What should I do if I need to cancel my participation after applying?

Please email parade@nanaimopride.ca as soon as possible. Please note that all refunds are subject to a 50% administration fee. Your fees become non-refundable after May 15th, 2025.

Can I distribute flyers or promotional materials during the parade?

If your material aligns with the NPS safe space directive and you have paid to pariticipate in the parade you may hand out material.
