Menu June 2 2025, 11:45 am - 12:45 pm Join the Positive Space Alliance to celebrate the beginning of pride month by raising the pride flag on the Nanaimo campus. After the flag raising, stay for music, cupcakes, and games!

About the event
We begin this month with our annual Pride Flag raising and the Show Your Pride event on Monday, June 2nd, at the Royal Bank Plaza. Our Cowichan and tiwšɛmawtxw campus community members will be tuning in virtually and hosting parallel celebrations. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in whatever way you can. If you are unable to attend in person, please join us on VIU University's Facebook page at 11:45 am to watch the flag being raised in real time.
