Time & Location: Parade at 11:00 AM through Downtown Nanaimo (Parade route: Fitzwilliam Street → Bastion Street Bridge → Front Street → Maffeo Sutton Park); Festival from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Maffeo Sutton Park
Overview: (All Ages) The heart of Pride Week… and it just keeps growing! Join thousands of community members for the biggest, brightest, queerest day of the year in Nanaimo. Our Pride Parade and Festival are a full-day celebration of love, identity, resistance, and joy — open to all ages and free to attend. This year’s new parade route begins on Fitzwilliam Street (below Selby), crossing the Bastion Street Bridge and continuing on, turning onto Front Street, and continuing all the way to Maffeo Sutton Park, where the festival comes to life.
Expect music, dancing, flags, floats, families, signs, and JOY filling the streets. We’re here LOUDER and…
