Discover the artistry of Peking Opera through movement, imagination, and storytelling. In this engaging workshop, participants will learn how performers use a simple horsewhip, expressive gestures, and intricate footwork to create the illusion of riding a horse—without one ever appearing on stage.
Led by acclaimed artist William Lau, this unique experience explores mounting, trotting, turning, stopping, and travelling through space using traditional Peking Opera techniques. No dance experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new!
